Daxx offers an exiting and comfortable environment to work in with interesting clients and interesting projects.Now we have an outstanding opportunity for talented Flash Developer to work on an interesting client for long term employment. You will be part of our ’team extension services’.
The flash developer will participate in a project whose purpose is to create an online strategic game. The flash developer will be fully responsible for the client side.
The designer will provide static graphical images. It will be the responsibility of the flash developer to use them and to create the client side of the game. This will include:
- A map that can be scrolled and zoomed
- Screens where certain objects of the game can be reviewed and managed
- Menus, buttons, various information on all screens
- Communication with the server application written in PHP
- The game will have no 3D animation, only minimum of 2D animation, no real-time battles.
Requirements:
Good knowledge of ActionScript 3.
Ability to create nice-looking game interface based on static images provided by the designer.
Good level of understanding of client-server communication issues, ability to propose optimal solutions for this communication and discuss them with other group members. Ability to implement and debug the ActionScript part of these solutions.
Written and spoken English. The level must be sufficient to communicate effectively with non-Russian-speaking group members during voice meetings and in writing.
