LUXOFT Company (IBS group of companies) opens Software Engineer position in department, which projects are being developed for the only customer
Responsibilities:
-Under general supervision, performs assigned software maintenance, enhancement and*or development tasks to support project delivery, product support and*or development activities.
-Completes intermediate software builds, integration and testing of products.
-Assigned integration and internal testing.
-Assists in identifying packaging requirements and designs, and deploys solutions for system delivery.
-Gathers information for and prepares software and system level documentation, such as software design documents, system installation guides, test plans, programmer’s guides, and software maintenance manuals.
-Performs basic and intermediate complexity bug fix designs. Implements the accepted design within the scheduled time and budget.
-Implements assigned pre-defined new functionality in applications.
-Provides limited marketing support for proposals and demonstrations to potential customers.
-Interfaces with customers on specific projects or technical issues.
-May mentor interns and junior staff.
-Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Requirements:
-Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent or equivalent work experience.
-Requires five (5) years software design or development experience in applicable language and*or database.
-Strong programming skills in writing code in C, C++, Java, Oracle, or relevant.
-Proven understanding of software design methodology.
-Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to draft professional and technical reports and procedures. Ability to make informal presentations to technical and non-technical staff and customers.
-Good PC skills required, including use of standard MS Office applications.
-Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals.
-Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
-Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity.
-Ability to occasionally work non-standard hours to accommodate business needs.
